christmas makes

Okay, so now that the daughter has a job, and her own cash coming in, she got a little cash reckless!  Something I think we all did when we first started work, and had money we could spend on ourselves.  The only thing is, with christmas fast approaching she found herself a little short for all her presents.  Guess who’s problem it was to sort this out…MINE!!

After organising how much she had to spend on everybody, and a little thinking out of the box, I managed to make sure she had presents for all, and was a very happ bunny.

Out came the sewing machine, and this was the result.

Make up bags for the girls,  filled with nail varnish and hand care products. As the fabrics and embellishments are all things I have in my stash, her friends received a bespoke handmade gift, that didn’t cost me anything other than time, and didn’t cost Jessica a fortune to fill.  I even made a bunny with crinkly ears for a baby. (can’t show this though as it’s wrapped up, so will have to make another in the new year.

Love doing a bit of sewing, its a lovely change.  So watch this space as there are more projects in the pipeline.

Be Happy & Craft On!
