Baby wipe butterflies

Good morning everybody!  Today I bring you a lovely technique that’s so easy, yet so effective.  I have been playing with this for days, and thought it was high time I share it with you all.  My Stampin Up upline showed us this at our training session, and I’m sure you will love it as much as I do.

To begin you will need a saucer (small plate), a baby wipe folded into quarters, a selection of Stampin Up re-inkers, and I used the large butterfly from the Watercolour wings stamp set.

Place your folded baby wipe onto the plate, then drop a variety of dye based inks randomly over the baby wipe.  Try not to overdo the darker inks though, as they may make it a little muddy looking.

Next press your stamp firmly onto the baby wipe to get a multi coloured ink effect on your stamp, now stamp this image onto your card.  You may need a few tries to get a good impression, but this is entirely personal preference.

This is such an easy technique that you could be producing these in large batches in no time. Quick and easy cards stamped and ready to go, in minutes.  Gotta love these ideas.

Until next time,  carry on crafting !!
